The British Behavioural Insights Team recently came out with a press release stating that they, together with Harvard University’s Behavioral Insights Group, had received a $1 m. grant from the American Sloan Foundation. The grant is meant to facilitate a new partnership between the BIT and the BIG groups, allowing them to draw on each-others expertise as well as testing out cutting edge research in real world settings. Additionally the grant will be used to host conferences around the world for those interested in applying behavioral insights to public policy.
